Universities Australia
Universities Australia is neutral and established to foster tertiary education in Australia.
It persists to serve the best interests of the university education in Australia . It’s objectives are :
- the promotion of the benefits of Australian Universities to Australia;
- provide assistance to Australian Universities in carrying out their roles;
- promote awareness of education issues,
- promote the image and good name of Australian Universities internationally;
- be a source of information for Australian Universities;
- assist in matters of the welfare of students, staff and graduates of Australian Universities;
- create opportunities for Australian Universities (in particular, their students, staff and graduates)
- analyze the impediments and needs of Australian Universities and their relations with other educational institutions, organizations
- foster the further development of Australian Universities.
Universities Australia represents (and is funded by contributions from) 38 of Australia’s 39 universities.
